Gold Road Resources, following the discovery of the Gruyere gold deposit in 2013, sought the assistance of Cannings Purple to increase its investor, corporate and media profile.
Gold Road Resources, founded in 2005, came to prominence with the discovery of the Gruyere gold deposit in 2013. The maiden resource of 3.8Moz in August 2014 was followed up in June 2015 with an increase to 5.51Moz.
Throughout the various study phases, Gold Road sought the assistance and advice of Cannings Purple in increasing its profile and appeal to investors and media.
Working with the Company, Cannings Purple has helped craft a consistent and persistent message regarding the quality and scale of the Gruyere Gold Project.
As well as drafting and editing announcements and press releases that reinforce the quality of the project, Cannings Purple’s design studio has updated the corporate presentation, fact sheets and booth collateral to enforce the message.
In May 2015, Gold Road’s JV partner at Yamarna South, Sumitomo Metals & Mining, achieved the milestone of earning 30% equity in the JV. Cannings Purple provided Government and Corporate Affairs support via the organisation of a milestone ceremony and cocktail function with Australian and Japanese Government and corporate representatives.
In November 2016, Gold Road announced that it had entered a Joint Venture with Goldfields Australia Limited, whereby Gold Road sold a 50% interest in the JV for A$350 million.
